Tim,

Does this mean you think I can move the old HD's into the new box but boot
off of my original Windows installation disk and run a find new hardware
sequence, or something like that? It's been so long, happily, since I have
had to use my installation disk that I can't remember what the options are
when it boots up.

If I got it running, could I then xxcopy from the old HD's to the new
directly rather than going through the USB HD step? If so, could I then
change the boot sequence so the machine boots from the new faster HD?

Can you tell if, from my questions, that I don't understand enough of what I
might be doing that I would be better off reinstalling (please say it ain't
so). But I think this is possible.

Harry

IMHO, you should be able to do this. You will most likely need to boot
from your installation CD and run a repair install in order to to get
the proper drivers for the new hardware in the proper places.
