Did you set the SATA BIOS setting to "Basic" if you aren't using a raid?? I'm having problems with a Gigabyte board now with a SCSI installed getting it to boot up with a SATA drive installed. It has an IDE drive with OS on it too. But there isn't anyone on this list that has had a problem like this.

Doesn't the SCSI card have it's own BIOS ? My 2940U2W does & once I set that to bootable it doesn't matter what I have the boot sequence set at in the mombos bios therefore I would have to turn that off 1st before I start messing with the rest of it.
