Now sometimes I install XP and I am able to boot straight into the prog desktop
as Administrator
(dangerous but hell - live dangerously) and sometimes it demands a log-on.
My computer goes straight to the desktop on boot.
Pearl's computer goes straight to the desktop on boot
my server does the same
the new on - all installation the same (I think) as I have done the dammed
thing so many times went
straight to the desktop but after installing all the updates to Office 2003 -
XP and so forth it has
decided to ask to log on. No password mind you just click the box and I don't
want that.
I then installed "power toys" and used the auto logon feature and it worked -
about 50% of the time
as it appears to lose the info and I go back the 'power toy' autolog on and
have to select it to
automatically log-on.
Any ideas?
Is there a physical registry mod I can do - I think there is but lost the info
on the back wood
trail in 1983 - ........
