By the way, removing the battery while on A/C power depends on the
laptop. I'm able to do this on my Acer Travelmate 250. It depends on
whether the A/C plugs into the laptop or the battery, in my case
it's the former.
I've not heard of a laptop where the AC plugs into the battery in
over 10yrs but I suppose they could exist not that I would buy it.
