You can say "cache", Wayne. ;-)

I try & not say that word as it sounds like that thing I ain't got. I
hear there are many types of cache or cash so using TIF shouldn't begat any misunderstanding in the family.

Here's what I see:

<a href="about:cache-entry?client=HTTP&sb=1&key=http://hoanewsnetwork.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2006/05/cbs_tv_reward.flv";>http://hoanewsnetwork.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2006/05/cbs_tv_reward.flv</a>

In the html file ???

Ah, no. Sorry about that. It's the way that Firefox displays what's in its
cache.

All you need in the address bar is <http://hoanewsnetwork.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2006/05/cbs_tv_reward.flv>
& the resulting file will be in your TIF folder.

What's an FLV? Can it be converted to SWF?

Why do I feel like I've been set up?

Incipient paranoia? ;-)
An FLV is a streaming Flash file. FLV is to SWF as TS is to MPG [sort of ;-) meaning with exceptions ] but both of them [FLV/TS] are different file types from {SWF/MPG] & therefore require conversion just as an MOV to MPG would. I know that TS files can be converted to MPG but have no idea whether FLV can be converted to SWF or not. I would imagine that it is possible but have not run into that situation as yet. FLV is a relatively new file type & most apps don't support conversion at this time. Ulead VideoStudio 9 supports importing SWFs but not FLVs.

One could find most of this info via Google but then you wouldn't get
this mensch with it & probably not presented in my indubitable style. <rotflmao>

That makes it worthwhile.

So I can play this file through my browser even though the browser doesn't have
an FLV player plug-in??
