Hi folks

As you are aware I have a network with an ADSL modem(access point) in a
Netgear 4 port router/switch - all hard wired.

My system is in short telephone point > modem/router/computer 1/computer
2/ computer 3/ computer 4 (on other side of room)

Computer 4 is fed by a single cable going up through the ceiling >
across rafters > through ceiling > computer 4.

If you can follow this you might realize that to place another computer
near # 4 I would have to run another cable through the roof....

Not wanting to do this or buy a new WiFi ADSL router modem how can I run
the two computer from one cable connection?

Some say "get a switch" (cheap)

Some say get another "router" (which is basically a switch?)

Some say "drill more hole in the ceiling"

Any suggestions
