my customer base is low-scale domestic, and how do you think MY average
Joe is gonna respond when I say "you really should cough up £100 for xp,
your dusty old win-98 OS isn't supported any more", when a: their
machines are £50 p3 450's with 4mb vram, 64-128mb ram, and b: they only
use them to play solitaire and send aol mails :) My income from cleaning
PC's (ie removing malware of any kind) has overtaken my income from
repairs (I'm still poor somehow, though <g>). And Linux is simply too
complex for my level of customer, even at the price (free). Vista's
gonna be a big flat dud around here, probably even *I* won't bother with
it for it's 1st 2 years
