Microsoft Corp. said yesterday that it will allow competitors' software to
appear more prominently than its own on the new Windows operating system,
scheduled for sale next year.

Translation: Want to Install Netscape, Firefox fine go ahead its ok with
Microsoft. WordPerfect no problem.
Users already have had the freedom to choose to install non-microsoft products
on thier PCs for many years
so I am very skeptical about Microsoft's very late about face in pushing
Microsoft Only products on PCs.
Too little too late for me.
