This may not be a "professional" list, but there are pros on
it. They just lose the neck tie [if they wear one :) ] here.
So, if I connect the FP reader LAN cable to a wireless
router, I should be able to see it with a wireless PC? Maybe
I'll drag my personal kit to work tomorrow, just to see.
A WAP or WR is basically a wireless hub, so it should work, as
long as the FP reader has or can get an IP address that is in
the same subnet as the wireless pc. Some WRs have a wireless
"isolation" feature where wireless clients are routed directly
to the wan, which basically prevents wireless clients from
talking to each other, or to wired clients. So be sure to check
and turn off the feature if present.
