I don't believe that 1.5.x will ever find 2.0 as an update since it's a
major version but it's all up to the programmers e.g. UltraEdit makes
one pay for major version upgrades while Total Commander does not. I
realize that paying is not the same as finding updates but the principal
is the same.
My understanding of this is that the Update process will eventually
offer FF 2.0 as an upgrade. If the user refuses it then from there on in
it will only offer upgrades to additional point releases of 1.5.
