Be careful: last I checked parted could only mess around on *empty* 
filesystems.  Resizing or moving an NTFS filesystem *with*data* in it is 
a lot trickier [and as I say, it might do it now, but parted couldn't do 
that when I last looked at it a year or two back].  Also, Unless things 
have gotten better in the driver-realm, Linux *still* doesn't have 
reliable NTFS drivers.  [as I understand it, they can *read* NTFS 
filesystems just fine, but there's some little nooks and crannies [that 
do *not* show up all the time!] that nail you when they attempt to 
_write_ to the filesystem.
