Be careful: last I checked parted could only mess around on *empty* filesystems. Resizing or moving an NTFS filesystem *with*data* in it is a lot trickier [and as I say, it might do it now, but parted couldn't do that when I last looked at it a year or two back]. Also, Unless things have gotten better in the driver-realm, Linux *still* doesn't have reliable NTFS drivers. [as I understand it, they can *read* NTFS filesystems just fine, but there's some little nooks and crannies [that do *not* show up all the time!] that nail you when they attempt to _write_ to the filesystem. /Bernie\ -- Bernie Cosell Fantasy Farm Fibers mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Pearisburg, VA --> Too many people, too few sheep <-- -- ---------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, mailto: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Is your picture included in the Official Win-Home List Members Profiles Page? http://www.besteffort.com/winhome/Profiles.html If not, write to: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
