[Win4Lin-users] Patching Debian 2.2.18pre21?

This has probably been discussed but I just subscribed and don't know where the archives are. Any pointers to information on patching
Debian kernel 2.2.18pre21? I tried with Kernel-Win4Lin2_2.2.18-1.patch but when I recompile with "Include TreLOS Win4Lin Support"
enabled the resulting kernel reboots after decompressing and before running init. With win4lin support turned off before compiling
the resulting kernel runs fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am no kernel hacker.
