Hi All.
Thanks for all those that suggested alternatives such as staroffice.
Unfortunately, I am not ready to use that as the solution yet for a
combination of reasons:
- my laptop is uinderpowered (especially memory to run win4lin and
staroffice)
- staroffice is not that reliable on this laptop, although it runs like
a dream on my home system, which is a similar setup, but much more powerful
- I am very limited on hard disk space I can make available for linux
- although staroffice is very good for compatibility, while I am the
only person testing use of linux/win4lin, compatibility must be 100% (I
don't just read these documents; I also create/edit them, and I need
more testing on my own time to verify the level of compatibility).
So, any suggestions for streamlining linux/win4lin integration?
