Hi there. I have finally upgraded from v1 to v3.05. Note, that this was an upgrade install, with my already having an installed windows under my home dir. A couple of issues (and since the netraverse web server has died, I cannot access any info online (I should add this is all Win98se). 1. What do I need to do to enable sound support? 2. Virtual networking . After running the win_network -v command and having windows pop up, I went into Network properties and added the Merge adaptor. For protocols, however, my only choices are: ATM Call Manager, Fast Infrared Protocol, WAN support for ATM, Winsock2 ATM Service Provider. Trying Have Disk, I cannot seem to come up with the proper location to pop up a dialog allowing me to add TCP/IP. I thought maybe adding Dial-up networking might trick Win into getting the stuff on there, but no go. Even after deleting the Merge adapter, the only options available for protocols are those listed above.
