Hello I have what they called hard-coded windows 98 2nd that I have got from UT. It is a windows for students and as far as the computer services know, the serial number is hard coded on the disk. To use in a brand new machine a boot disk is needed. I've got the boot disk but I can't install windows. It keeps asking for the serial number which I don't have since it supposed to be hard coded on the CD. Have anybody tried to install such version of Windows 98?
