I keep my own copy of resolutions for when I upgrade (beta versions) and replace the one installed. I only use a few of the custom resolutions anymore and I only find it necessary to add larger sizes. My current resolution is 1260x920 which fits nicely in KDE at 1280x1024 X resolution. I find it better to run this way with W4L on it's own screen so Windows can take advantage of the screen space. I find this much easier when switching from Windows to Linux than using fwin and having to switch consoles via <control>+<alt>+<f#> especially if attempting to cut and paste.
