I don't remember seeing anything about 13 actually being available yet. Is that the case? I tried to renew our upgrade assurance plan last week but the links just took me around in circles so I gave up.

I've been using Diskeeper disk defragmentation software for quite some time though I've been particularly interested in the advances made in Diskeeper software over the last year or so. I've been looking for comparisons between Diskeeper 2012 and Speedisk - the Disk Defragmentation solution supplied as part of Norton Utilities-, unfortunately the link below is pretty much all I've been able to find. Whilst the review itself doesn't offer all that much detail, it certainly does confirm what I've pretty much suspected, whilst Norton Utilities Speedisk does a good job its not as thorough as it could be. I'm not knocking Symantec, after all! Norton Utilities is selling for $50.00 so - given the price for a suite of utilities that pretty much do what they say they do - its a bargain. I'm not sure of the price for Diskeeper 2012 Home edition, I remember paying $25.00 for a licence some time ago but that's still a damn good price for a dedicated and versatile disk defragmenter, I use 2 versions of Diskeeper, the Professional version on my Multi Media Windows desktop and the home version on my other Windows computers, read on. http://disk-defragmenter-software-review.toptenreviews.com/diskeeper-professional-review.html ********** Dane Trethowan Skype: grtdane12 ======================================= To post to this group, please send your message to: [email protected] The Windows-Access E-Mail forum is guaranteed malware, spyware, Trojan, virus and worm-free To modify your subscription options, please visit your personalise subscriber options page, located at http://mail.tft-bbs.co.uk/mailman/listinfo/windows-access You can find an archive of all messages posted to the Windows-Access forum at either of the following websites: http://mail.tft-bbs.co.uk/pipermail/windows-access/index.html Or: <http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]> you may also subscribe to this list via RSS.
