Well, I deleted the original message here by mistake but I'm left reeling at
the possibility that anybody might consider safety online a "Trivial point".
Safety, to me at least, is the number 1 concern. To simply presume that
companies such as Freedom Scientific, GW Micro, Google, Microsoft, Apple, HP …
you get the picture … are safe, is just leaving me gasping for air!

In fact, I wouldn't be at all surprised to learn that Freedom Scientific's
servers are actually just hired Microsoft or partner servers just as their ILM,
(Internet License Management) servers are third-party. Therefore, to call
safety a trivial point, well, all I can say is I just hope you don't live to
regret those words.

A few years back, I had a malicious party report me to the then-named Copyright
Protection board for illicitly using and distributing pirated software. That
report proven to be false, as I showed them evidence and they went away
satisfied and I heard no more. But a little while later I believe another
member of this group was also visited for the same reasons. I can only say
that I hope the same thing doesn't happen again, even online.

Kind regards
