Hi

This is my problem. I am without a JAWS key currently. Although I have the
keyboard layout set to Laptop, the caps lock key doesn’t work as the JAWS key
and I cannot find an insert key replacement. I should also explain that JAWS
is running under Windows 8.1 Pro Media Centre inside of a virtual machine. The
host OS is not in any way using the caps lock key, I’ve totally disabled that.

To change punctuation on the fly from anywhere, press Jaws+v to bring the
verbosity menu. It'll bring up all the settings without the need to run through
start up wizard.
Good luck :)
