As you may recall from some while ago I have been trying to persuade
Windows Java runtimes to function. Previously there was a problem with
font selection.
I recently downloaded the 1222 drop, compiled it, and tried my little test
case. This time it does not even get as far as displaying the window to
see if we still had the problem, instead it puts out repeated
"fixme:task:GetFastQueue16 ( ): should initialise thread-local queue,
expect failure!" messages.
For the record BTW, I also tested the Notes client (R5). It works, much as
it has for a while now. I notice however that all the icons that should be
on the right hand end of the menu bar are still positioned immediately to
the right of the rightmost text menu item. I seem to recall that this was
discussed some while ago, and was thought to have been fixed.
Is this an area anyone is working on, or can someone give me a clue as to
what is suppose to be happening here and I will try to fix it myself.
