Directly how? I am still confused, sorry. By "Gecko" do you mean:

-  A win32 copy of Gecko/GRE/XRE installed in  ~/.wine/drive_c?
-  A native Linux copy of Gecko installed as part of, say, the
distributions Firefox?
- Something else?
