Adding registry keys will not fix all of these problems. Some installers also check the version info of the (stub) dll's in wine. (in my case, Autocad 2004) In cases where a faked registry key does help, a single key is often sufficient, so it's not very difficult to do by hand. I think it would be best to mention this in the appdb for the applications that need this, and maybe in the wine wiki. (it probably already is)
