The problem is, the user felt he was treated rudely: "I will report a new bug, but don't treat me like i'm an idiot or someone who deliberatly is spamming in closed bug reports." and I tend to agree. In this case, the user didn't need education, he just needed to be gently told that a new bug needs to be filed. - Dan
