If a previously-optional component is now deemed to be mandatory, and that component *on its own* happens to double the download size required to install Wine, I consider that a problem. I understand this, but it's a quick-fix to a problem that has long-term ramifications which were not even considered when the decision was made. It is simply not satisfactory that ALL use-cases of Wine now present the users with the "you need Gecko" dialog. >wine cmd /c echo yes now downloads gecko. How can you possibly justify this?
