We are no longer few but we are certainly happy. Especially in the old
meaning of "happy," i. e., fortunate.
Doc, I looked up St. Crispin, never having thought to do so before and
learned he was a shoemaker; cobblers used to take a "Shoemaker's Holiday"
on his feast day. All these years of studying Shakespeare and this had
completely got by me! So thank you for my continuing education and for the
education I've long cherished from you and from my fellow students. In my
mind, I'm still in the circle.

Love,
Gail
