James led Shakespeare at Winedale for many years, a program dedicated to bringing Shakespeare to life through performance for students and audiences alike. I hope you can join us in honoring the memory of a dear colleague and teacher at this special place, so closely associated with James’s passionate engagement with theatre, teaching, and collaboration in the pursuit of truth and beauty. Bring a picnic lunch and beverages to enjoy on the grounds. Dress is casual. There will be many ways to participate, connect, and celebrate during the day. The Barn will be reserved as a space for contemplation and reflection. Prepare a letter for James to hang in the barn. Families with kids of all ages are encouraged to attend; there will be a kid’s tent with activities.
