OK, so there aren't any Ethernets involved, so the 60-byte padding isn't required. (802.11 drivers on Windows present 802.11 packets as Ethernet packets, with an Ethernet header rather than an 802.11 header. They're not Ethernet packets, however.)


In that case, it might be that WinPcap is doing its own padding.
