Good day everyone,

A group from University of Tennessee is working on a project
that will let you save and retrieve wireless graffitis based
on your position. The position is obtained by triangulation
on the client side, reading Access-Points ID and signal strength
on wireless cards.
In order to accomplish this our client software needs to turn
the wireless card in RFMON mode then read 802.11 frames on LIBPCAP.
We feel comfortable doing this in Linux, but are facing a major problem in
Windows...How to tell the driver the put the card in RFMON mode in the
windows world (NetStumbler people have discovered how to do it obviously)

Does anyone know how to proceed on this?

Any help appreciated,

Regards,

Philippe Hanset
