I am baffled by this. How can a University or College restrict the OS choices of its users?
We do not prevent them from using a Linux platform in our wireless environment. We simply tell them that they cannot get assistance from the Helpdesk if they choose to do so. Our site license includes a client for Linux so it is possible for this platform to be used in our environment. I have no doubt that someone will try it.
