As mentioned in a previous posting, we are planning to connect a 500 student dorm complex on our campus (see http://som.csudh.edu/fac/lpress/471/hout/dorm/dormdescription.htm).
Have you any rules of thumb as to the bandwidth we would need to provide to give a "DSL like" quality of service? Have you had trouble with students running server farms, and, if so, how have you coped with them?
