We used TM-600 leaky Coax for several areas before moving to 802.11n. It actually worked well, here is the info:

It worked as expected, even signal strength over ~200 feet from one 2.4GHz access point antenna. Ours was indoors, hung above a drop ceiling with offices on one side.
