We are also using the solstice pods since last year. We now have 44 units. Mostly they work great except for some issues that people report:
* No way to use powerpoint presentation mode (but that might get fixed soon in a future release is what mersive told us) * Audio delay while playing movies (issue is still being investigated), currently we can’t reproduce anymore, might be related to jitter and maybe could be fixed by implementing QOS is what mersive is telling now (pods are only connected via wired network, so no wifi enable, but our clients use both wifi and wired) We are currently on hold to buy extra solstice devices until above 2 issues are fixed Anyone else experiencing this audio delay? From a network perspective, they’re the only AV devices that I actually enjoy supporting (and the only ones I recommend for conference screen sharing). It depends on the feature set you are looking for. Solstice is extremely easy for someone to use in conference rooms and classrooms, the calendar integration is nice, and they are easy to manage. I’m interested in seeing what they add as far as conferencing features to the device. That being said, It’s sometimes a bit much to add to our rooms and we are thinking about Crestron Air Media since we have Crestron panels already in some of those spaces. If you want more collaborative features T1V blew us away, but so did the price. Barco we found very cumbersome to use a few years ago now but they may have gotten better. I think it really depends on what needs you have for your spaces.
