dmesg output
Wishing You & Your Family "A Very Happy New Year".
I am trying to install FreeBSD 14.2 on lenovo thinkbook 14-IML and have not
been able to get the trackpad or the wifi work. I am enclosing the dmesg output
for your kind perusal.
The command sysctl net.wlan.devices gives an output of rtw880. But this does
not connect to the net. The moment I use a TpLink Dongle I am able to connect
to the net using rtwn0. The wifi specifications are 802.11ac 1x1 Wi-Fi +
Bluetooth 5.0, M.2 card
The trackpad is a multi-touch touchpad, buttonless touchpad Touchpad Buttonless
Mylar® surface multi-touch touchpad. I have tried to get the drivers installed
and the commands
/sys/dev/atkbdc/#grep 'Single Synaptics on Active Mux' psm.c and
sys/dev/atkbdc/#grep 'enable_single_synaptics_mux' psm.c
Despite these the trackpad is not detected using the command
dmesg |grep psm
Could you please guide me how to have these work.
Warm regards,
Prashant
