Are you actually using it?  You were on CCMP before already so there
should be no need for TKIP.  What does
        ifconfig -v wlan0
say?  AES-CCM or TKIP?

Sorry, my bad Bjoern, ignore me. Yes, it's using AES-CCM. The speedbump at 
the time was probably coincidental :)
