Yeah I'm in NO; I'm not setting country/regdomain on interface bringup. Is that a problem? I'll add that .. And your patches to the regdomain file.

Yes country/regdomain does matter and the further we get implementing
new stuff the more it will that you are with the correct country
settings (and your AP).

Expect me when you see me here.. :)

Okay I now have vht/160 on both AP and iwlwifi, and iperf3 gives me about 500Mbit/s sustained. That's not too shabby, is it?

If that is TCP RX that seems good for the moment. UDP TX should
probably give you 850-ish, UDP RX might give 660 on a good day all
depending on too many things if my memory serves me right.

ifconfig -v below.

Only changes made was the country/regdomain setting on ifconfig, and your patch to regdomain.xml.

and that would not be needed for NO as ETSI knows about VHT160 already.

You want me to reproduce the problem without these changes, and get you the ifconfig -v?

I am happy you are sorted; I'll try to reproduce the other problem
myself locally first (it's on my list now). But could also have been
your AP on ETSI vs. FCC keeping you stuck on 11a.

Thank you again!

Glad we could sort this one out quickly :-)

Blessed Sunday,
Bjoern
