I have the opposite problem. I've got a WAP11 in AP-client mode to an
RG-1000. If on a hub connected to the WAP11, I can ping the WAP11, ping the
RG-1000, and ping remote hosts (albeit with some packet loss)

any ideas on how to solve this problem?

thanks,
K
