I don't know what IPNetFilter does (NAT?) but if it doesn't provide
firewalling, BrickHouse for OS X provides a nifty GUI for the native IPFW
firewalling rules.  If you want intrusion detection, you might want to
take a look at snort.  Also, if you're using your personal machine as the
router, you may want to at least use the built in file encryption on
sensitive data such as quicken and turbotax files.
