I have a lucent/orinoco Range Extender antenna
(works great), that I've been using with an orinico PCMCIA card in a Linux
machine for a while. But since there is no host-ap support for this card, I've
bought a D-Link DWL-520 PCI card (Prism2.5 chipset), which works great in host
access point mode under linux. However, the range of the small antenna is very
poor compared to what I had with the Range Extender.
Of course, the Range Extender connector (MC ?) is
not the same as the D-Link connector (Reverse SMA).
Does anyone know where I can buy an adapter to
connect those two, or how I can make one without spending too much money
?
