hey all

i was wondering if there are work-arounds for cordless-phone interferance. i have an
intel 2011pro ap, a panasonic 2.4g cordless, and a variety of 802.11b cards (orinico,
intel). every time i turn on the cordless phone (or if theres a call) -- my wireless
network connection drops. i can even hear my wireless card's 'beacon' as static when
the phone is picked up (its a synchronized 'tick' to the flashing light on the card)

ive tried playing with the channel settings (i read that channel 11 is the best for
this) but the problem still persists. there also diverity settings for the ap (Full,
Primary, Secondary, Recieve) but im not sure what these do.

any suggestions on how to alleviate this problem?
