Hi all,

I trust that if anybody can solve my problems, y'all can.

I have a neighbor with a BEFW11S4 (on channel 6 and running DHCP)
connected to his AT&T cable modem. I can connect reliably on my Win2K
laptop using an Orinoco Gold PCMCIA card. I can also connect well using
my WET11 plugged into the laptop's Ethernet port.

I bought the WET11 with the idea of using it to feed the WAN port of my
own BEFW11S4, which would then share the connection via Ethernet with my
Win2K desktop and wirelessly with my laptop via channel 11.

When I plug the WET11 into the WAN port of my router, and set the latter
to "Automatically obtain IP address" it does secure one from my
neighbor's router. The problem is that I cannot connect to the internet
from any devices downstream of my router, though IPCONFIG reports a
"Connection-specific DNS Suffix" of "attbi.com" so I know that something
is happening.

Am I missing a configuration switch or something? I would appreciate any
advice/help that the group can offer.

Gordon Arnold . [EMAIL PROTECTED]
