======================== News release Free wireless Internet in Leiden During today's Euroforum WiFi congress in Amsterdam Internet provider Demon announced that they will offer free Internet connections using the wireless network of the Wireless Leiden Foundation. Three junctions in the Leiden network will be equipped with access ports to Demon's Internet service. The partnership agreement will function as a test allowing both parties to gain experience in providing fast Internet through a WiFi network. "The framework of the Wireless Leiden network is one of the most advanced in the world and therefore we consider it a very interesting test environment," said Jurgen Hof, Director of Sales & Marketing at Demon. The Wireless Leiden Foundation is also very pleased with the partnership. "Our users are extremely interested in services that offer them wireless Internet, free of charge," said Jasper Koolhaas, President of the Foundation.
