Hey everyone: I'm running Win2000 with an Orinoco gold WiFi card; and I loathe and detest the client software - no wildcard searching when I'm looking for a new network, no relative strength meter etc, etc...
Can anyone suggest a piece of client software that a) is compatible with my client b) compatible with my home A/P (a Linksys BEFW11S4) c) compatible with my needs. Apropos of the earlier part of this note, I was *outside* Peet's on Sac and Fillmore today and at one stage saw four different A/Ps - "San Fran", "linksys" (!) were two of them.
