I am running WAP11 2.2 with the d-link dwl-900+ version 2.5 firmware. I am using the one as an AP and the other as a repeater. I think the unit will do DHCP, but I have a Linux box doing that. As far as NAT goes I don't think it will do that.
My link as been rock solid for about 1.5 weeks since the conversion. Before I would have to cycle power on the WAP11 (either side) about once every day or two. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] On Behalf Of Patrick Tufts Sent: Thursday, January 30, 2003 3:46 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [BAWUG] Linksys WAP11 v2.2 with D-Link DWL-900 AP firmware Is anyone here using a Linksys WAP11 v2.2 running D-Link AWP900 firmware? I have a WAP11 v2.2 and would like to use it to replace my Graphite Airport base station. The Airport was running DHCP and NAT. Can a WAP11 running the D-Link firmware do NAT and DHCP? Is it reliable? --Pat -- general wireless list, a bawug thing <http://www.bawug.org/> [un]subscribe: http://lists.bawug.org/mailman/listinfo/wireless -- general wireless list, a bawug thing <http://www.bawug.org/> [un]subscribe: http://lists.bawug.org/mailman/listinfo/wireless
