Let them pull it if they like. (They won't as it lowers their income).

That works against their revenue stream, so I think that the technology has
'ONCE AGAIN' leapfrogged over the old revenue models. They (cable and
PacBell) had 3 years to bring down their prices so everyone could order it,
but instead they mismanaged the projects, dragged their feet for higher
prices and they only got so many of us to order broadband at home (no
pun...).

What a surprise that they drag their nail fungus-ridden feet, given that
their mindset grew from the lethargic, 'We tell you what to do' telco
mentality.... Times have changed people. We tell them what we want and not
vice versa any more as their is just too much choice nowadays. Someone tell
them to get their heads out of the sand! Let's just keep speaking with our
wallets.

There will always be another vendor in the wings be it copper, microwave,
fiber or satellite or even something like a
http://www.beamreachnetworks.com/ technology.

Power to the people! :-)

You better read the fine print on that one...
It is YOUR responsibility to make sure that you are the only one using your
access line, all they have to do is prove you are letting others using it
and they will pull it.
