I just set up a BAWUG wiki page, for all things related to wireless & the
SFBA. Please add useful information! :)
(I'd personally like to see pointers to other sites, and more info about
good HW recommendations, with specs!)

I set it up on the Debian wiki server, cause:
1) I know how to do that, and
2) I think it's important that BAWUG have a wiki, and
3) Given 1 above, I am able to get this up right now, and
4) Hopefully the wiki.debian.net people won't mind it being there for a
little while. [ :) ]

NOTE TO BAWUG WEB MAINTAINER: Would it be possible to get a wiki set up
on the actual BAWUG site, so we don't have to use the Debian site? TIA.
:)

This is the Bay_Area_Wireless_User_Group Wiki Page

BAWUG is not a Debian orgainization, although some Debian users are
members of BAWUG. [Hopefully, the Debian wiki folks wont mind this page
being on the wiki.debian.net server, at least for the time being. :) ]
Perhaps eventually - hopefully? - BAWUG will get a wiki set up on the
BAWUG server. Until such time, here is this page. :)

This page is information about all aspects of wireless technology, and
also info about wireless in the San Francisco Bay Area. Hopefully it will
come to include information about:

    * What is good wifi hardware.
    * What is good wifi software.
    * What locations have wifi access.
    * Why isn't the BAWRN site at Twin Peaks putting out a good signal in
    the TP area?
    * Etc.

[See the wiki page for info on a brand NEW 802.11b router for $10 on Fri
morning before 10AM. - Note: I receive no compensation for this
recommendation, it's just something I saw an add for today. :) ]
