Timothy, The WAP11 in APClient mode is an address4 client (multimac) while the Airport Extreme is an address3 only AP (understands single-mac clients only or clients that proxy arp to seem like a single mac client). Therefore the WAP11 in Client mode will connect to the Airport but the Airport will not be able to bridge the trafic properly.
You are doing nothing wrong ! So your choises are : 1. Get another WAP11 in AP mode - recomended (or any other address4 capable AP) 2. Get another proxy-arp capable Client but you will not be "bridging" the 2 segments, and only tcp/ip traffic will passthrough (no netbios, etc) Thank you -- Dimitri http://www.vergina.net > I am trying to extend the range of my wireless network, but I'm not > sure if I have it correct.
