You need the active Perl instillation files. Apache
is a web server. It is used so you can view the files made by MRTG over the
internet. If you only care to view them on the one local PC then you don't
need to worry about it.Yes both will work on an XP Desktop. That's
where mine runs.

[WISPA] MRTG
I need to get MRTG on my XP computer so I can graph
usage. I don't know what to download. I guess I need some
ActivePerl. http://www.activestate.com/Products/Download/Download.plex?id=ActivePerl
I don't know what to get for XP. And for MRTG, I downloaded from
here http://people.ee.ethz.ch/~oetiker/webtools/mrtg/pub/
I downloaded this one,
MRTG-2.12.2.zip 19-Jun-2005 15:40 1.6M (5th from the top)
So....do I have the right MRTG, and what ActivePerl do I need? Do I need anything else? If so, what and where (be specific). For now I just need to get everything downloaded I need.
Then I can attempt to put it all together.
