I have never soldered and have never had to replace a crimp in 5 years. Perhaps I'm just good or lucky or a combination of both. LMR400/600.

Subject: [WISPA] Crimp or solder?

We've always terminated LMR 195/400/600 with solder on tips in the past. Its a real pain in the arse to do in many environments. Can anyone relate experiences
with the crimp on tips? IS there any loss of reliability etc.?

Thanks,
Chris
