I think the only reason MT and StarOS don't have certified solutions is that it hasn't been an issue until the past 2 weeks. I'm sure in 2 months there will be MT and StarOS certified solutions available.

Hey Harold. Did you guys build that Association List interface into your Wilibox platform yet? I want to be able to see every associated client on one screen with the ability to name the customer as per the MAC address, see the IP address, see the source and destination port and address, see realtime traffic use, signal levels, noise levels, etc. Just wondering if this will be in the version you are releasing with the dual radio boards you were talking about the other day. This is critical for quick troubleshooting of client issues. It is something that has always been a nice part of the Star OS platform.

I sure wish you and Lonnie would just get together and release a certified Star OS package. You have all the same certified hardware Lonnie needs and he has all the software features I need. Together you guys could be selling a completely certified Deliberant / Star OS platform in no time. Just a thought. I am not trying to downplay your Wilibox platform as I am sure it is feature packed and I like the multi-ESSID capability, I just know that many of us have used Star OS as our primary customer interface for years. It would be nice to continue that platform and have a certified platform to run it on. I think you guys need to work together on this. Please? :-)

We have a new unit out this week that is based on Wilibox software. It
can do everything you want except PPPoE. Can you do PPPoE concentration
further upstream or put a wired box at the site for this function?

Virtual AP, Hotspot, WPA/2 PSK and Radius, etc. are all options for the
AP platform otherwise.

I am getting ready to expand my network by adding a couple of new
towers. The decision I am trying to make is what equipment to buy. My
plan was to use Mikrotik for a BH/AP, but with all the certification
talk, I am looking in different directions. I am looking for the
following features.

PPPoE at the AP

Virtual AP

Hotspot

These are the basics. I run my clients with PPPoe and have a virtualAP
setup as a hotspot to catch people passing through. Any one know of
certified equipment that is as flexible as Mikrotik? Have looked at
Deliberant but don't know if it can do the VAP and hotspot.
