You mean "Cisco OR some other equipment". There are a multitude of equipment that can handle that part.

But then you need to collect that data, extract only the data that the LEA needs, and send it to them within 8 seconds in real-time, transparently, without adding noticeable latency.

Re-read the FAQ. The contents of that document were reviewed for accuracy by the FBI's CALEA enforcement. #18 is of particular interest/applicability.

The plan needs to be filed to let the FCC and the Feds know that you have thought upon compliance and have an idea of what you will do if/when presented with a subpoena.

I think this it he part that Matt is sounding off about. It is an important part of the equation. Parts of this should have been in place with the earlier filings.
